Our Business Formation Process

What to expect

1. Consultation with Business Lawyer to review business idea.

Before we form your company, we make sure you have thought of the important things that go along with starting a business such as: Checking to see if the name you picked is available or if there are any potential issues with trademarks. Discuss tax strategies and ways to handle investing in your business.

2. Prepare your documents and review them with you.

We will draft your documents and review them with you to ensure that they are accurate and complete. We will make changes as needed prior to submitting them.

3. File your documents with the appropriate government agencies.

We have a special account with the Florida Division of Corporations that allows us to provide expedited filing for all our clients at no additional cost.

4. Deliver your company binder.

As soon as your documents have been approved and sent back by the state, we send them to you electronically. We will also create a custom e-company binder with all your important documents in one place. A company binder will help you greatly when you are adding new partners, selling your business, and attract investors.

5. Provide compliance consultation and ongoing support.

After you form your business, you will adopt bylaws/operating agreement, issue stock/membership certificates, and hold an organizational meeting. We provide draft all the documents and assist you with holding your organizational meeting. We also help our clients understand their compliance requirements by providing them a Business License and Compliance report that provides information on which permits, licenses, tax receipts, and many other regulations you will need to comply with depending on your location and industry.  We also provide our clients with ongoing telephone assistance with filing their annual report. This is an important compliance requirement that must be strictly adhered to or your business may be dissolved.
